Maida Custom Vision is excited to welcome Dr. Jason Miles

Dr. Jason F. Miles is a board-certified Ophthalmologist and graduate of Florida State University College of Medicine. He was inducted as a medical student into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his medical school academic achievement, teaching, leadership, demonstration of humanism, and service to others. This national society was formed in 1902. He completed his internship in internal medicine, residency in ophthalmology, and fellowship in cornea and external disease at The University of Florida / UF Health in Gainesville.

During his fellowship at the University of Florida, he was inducted into the UF Chapman chapter of The Gold Humanism Honor Society for being an exemplar of compassionate patient care while serving as a role model and mentor for practicing patient-centered care.

Dr. Miles has a clinical interest in the medical and surgical management of corneal infections, cataracts, Fuch’s endothelial corneal dystrophy, pterygium surgery, and corneal transplantation.

It is his goal to form connections with his patients on a personal level and to serve the community by providing excellence in eye care. In addition to patient care, Dr. Miles is passionate about continued education, clinical trials, and studies to continue improving his skill to best treat his patients.

A Florida native, Dr. Miles grew up in Ormond Beach and loves the Northeast Florida area. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his family in Ponte Vedra, exercising, surfing, biking, and vegetable gardening.
