Education

Dr. Maida gained acceptance to New Jersey College of Medicine while he was still completing his undergraduate degree. Years after earning his medical degree, he attended Wharton School of Business, where he earned his MBA.

Training

Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Maida underwent several rigorous training courses. As the recipient of the New Jersey College of Medicine Fellowship, Dr. Maida traveled to Tanzania to provide medical care and study tropical disease and medicine. He also worked as a pilot and Naval Flight Surgeon, completed a residency at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, and took on a fellowship in anterior segment surgery.
